SamCart is looking for an innovative, dedicated, and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Software Engineering team. In this role, you will design, implement, test, and release new features of our e-commerce product. Using modern tools and methodologies, you will leverage deep technical knowledge of object-oriented design to ensure simplicity, changeability, and longevity in our codebases. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team to deliver sophisticated e-commerce systems at Internet scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy features across the full application stack.
- Follow best practices like test-driven development, refactoring, and simple design.
- Collaborate with members on engineering, design, and product to ensure features achieve business goals and meet usability and experience standards.
- Author technical documentation for workflows and processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in both frontend and backend development frameworks, specifically NextJS/React and PHP (Laravel).
- Demonstrated skill in building reliable software systems incorporating fundamental design principles (design patterns, SOLID, etc.)
- Experience developing and deploying software in a containerized environment.
- At least 5 years of professional experience building software applications leveraging web application frameworks.
- Comfortable in SQL and NoSQL environments
