DUTIES: AT&T Services, Inc. is looking for a Senior-Software Engineer in Dallas, TX (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US/may work from home) to perform delivery process of software application in regards to design, development, testing, deployment, production application support, troubleshooting, and maintenance with a focus on automation. Gather and review software requirements and user stories, provide estimates, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions. Execute a specific development methodology through application of various programming languages.
Create and execute automated test plans and strategies with business requirements. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, test data and results, design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results, and produce associated reports. Complete unit test, dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing. Support applications and solve configuration and environment issues. Build web applications and scalable web services. Utilize technologies JavaScript, Java, and ColdFusion. Work with database SQL, Spark SQL, and Oracle. Plan and implement cross-functional projects, span multiple components that deliver high-quality products on time. Write concise code with clean and simple interfaces with Agile Development, application design, architecture, application development tools, design thinking, emerging technologies, information security management, programming, requirements analysis, software development life cycle, and software QA and testing tools.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Applied Science and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation performing delivery process of software application in regards to design, development, testing, deployment, production application support, troubleshooting, and maintenance with a focus on automation; utilizing technologies JavaScript, Java, and ColdFusion; and writing concise code with clean and simple interfaces with Agile Development, application design, architecture, application development tools, design thinking, emerging technologies, information security management, programming, requirements analysis, software development life cycle, and software QA and testing tools.
