As a SharePoint Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing and maintaining SharePoint solutions that meet the needs of our business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that improve collaboration, streamline our business processes and increase our productivity.

Employment Status: Due to security clearance requirements, you must have resided in Canada for at least five years and already have your permanent residency or Canadian citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop and implement SharePoint solutions, including custom web elements, workflows, lists, libraries and applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Customize and develop SharePoint sites using .NET and C# to meet specific business needs.
• Create and update documentation for SharePoint solutions, including architecture, configuration and user guides.
• Troubleshoot SharePoint solutions by providing timely support to end users.
• Stay current with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 technologies to recommend best practices and innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies when implementing SharePoint solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with development teams to ensure high code quality is maintained.

Skills:


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a SharePoint developer, with expertise in SharePoint On-Premise and SharePoint Online.
• Excellent command of .NET and C# programming languages.
• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and SharePoint Designer.
• Knowledge of SharePoint REST API, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Excellent problem-solving and bug-fixing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• SharePoint certifications (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint Developer Certification) are an asset.
