We are seeking a Senior User Researcher, Insights to contribute to our next level of growth and expansion.

Job Description

The Insights team is looking for a motivated individual with a strong UX research background to serve as a full-time contractor. This person will be responsible for executing large strategic research studies among the clients’ target customer base.

  • Working with the Insights team to scope and design complex studies across multiple audiences and data sources.
  • Managing the full life cycle of a study (research planning, recruiting, fielding, analysis, and reporting).
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to drive highly actionable and meaningful insights to inform product and feature directions.
  • Owning deliverables, specifically creating digestible reports that clearly communicate findings to non-research audiences (e.g. senior leadership, sales, product, design).
  • Collaborating with other members of the Insights team to support knowledge sharing across the organization

Qualifications

  • A self-starter who delivers research quickly and independently and takes initiative when they see research opportunities.
  • A strategic thinker who can translate data into insights that address business needs
  • A research powerhouse with a strong knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative UXR methods and can easily identify when to use which – depending on the problem you’re solving. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting user interviews, card sorting, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis to uncover actionable insights and inform design decisions.
  • A storyteller who can communicate findings in a compelling, meaningful way.
  • This person must have 7+ years of professional experience in User Experience Research related to software and digital experiences.
  • Presentation building skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides) and a good eye for concise data visualization.
  • Familiarity with research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Alchemer, UserZoom, dScout)
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to synthesize findings for both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
