Summary
Anaconda is seeking a talented Sr. Quality Automation Engineer to join our rapidly-growing company in our new Insights Team. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply them to the world of data science and machine learning. You will work on a team with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Application Developers, Product Management, User Experience, and an Agile Coach. The team’s goal is to help the company understand our users, the broader Data Science ecosystem, and the Open Source community leveraging corporate and external data.
What You’ll Do:
- Help the team set high-quality standards and encourage good quality practices
- Implement testing frameworks that you and the rest of the team can leverage
- Create automated end-to-end tests across the different components and pipelines the team creates
- Create best practices for data quality at Anaconda that other teams will leverage in the future
- Work with Data Science to create and validate models for Drift Detection and model completeness
What You Need:
- Experience with automated testing for data quality in a production environment
- Experience with version control (we use Git)
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language. Java, Python, C++, Go, etc
- Experience using a testing automation framework such as Selenium, pytest
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions, AWS CodePipelines)
- Created unit and integration tests for commercial products

What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Glue or other ETL pipeline tools
- Experience building test automation for public cloud environments
- Contributed to open source. Bonus if you are a maintainer of an open-source project
- Container experience (Docker)
- Strong knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies
- Startup experience
