Job Description: 

Softrams is looking for a Senior Quality Analyst. This role is part of a collaborative and agile team that supports and builds modern, standards-based responsive web applications for mission-critical health IT solutions. 

Federal Requirements:??

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.? 
  • Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.? 
  • Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.? 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • 8 years of experience in a quality analyst role 
  • Strong front end interface testing with emphasis on user personas. 
  • Experience with SQL server and experience with writing and executing backend tests using SQL helps. 
  • Experience with drafting test plans and test cases 
  • Experience with web services and API testing 
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile-Scrum development methodology 
  • Experience with gathering metrics and monitoring progress 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in federal healthcare projects. Familiarity with CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) projects is a huge plus 
  • Experience with Automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, Gauge, Taiko, playwright, cypress for automation testing 
  • Experience with Programming language like Java, JS etc. 
  • Experience with Test/project management tools like – JIRA, confluence, Test rail, ALM etc. 

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and validates requirements and technical specifications 
  • Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization 
  • Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality 
  • Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing) 
  • Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization 
  • Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes 
  • Manages testing efforts across many varied modules and tasks under tight deadlines 
  • Perform manual and automated functional tests large-scale system tests in an any test frameworks. 
  • Good experience in writing SQL queries and ability to perform Data testing 
  • Participation in daily scrum meetings, agile ceremonies and weekly test team meetings. 
  • Support UAT activities, sprint demos, any walkthroughs
