Reporting to the Senior Director, Humanitarian Services Operations, the Sr. Program Manager, manages the design, information collection, analysis, communication and implementation of various initiatives and projects impacting American Red Cross Humanitarian Services. It serves as the program lead for the Humanitarian Services Incentive Plan, working with senior leaders on program design, partnering with HR and business units to conduct program analysis and working with various partners to ensure data accuracy and program/payout execution. This position must be a leader committed to the adoption of enhanced use of technologies for information sharing. The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, communicative, and proactive, with a high level of integrity for managing confidential and sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a program lead for the Humanitarian Services Incentive Plan – administers and analyzes the incentive plan program and procedures and uses both data business knowledge to make recommendations for improvement
- Manages information collection and data analysis, identifies trends, conducts research, and prepares regular and special reports
- Leads or contributes to high-level operations project work, often supporting cross-functional and collaborative initiatives as a project lead or member.
- Comfortable and adept at creating and delivering leadership presentations to a wide variety of audiences including Red Cross regions, divisions, and national/senior leaders
- Supervises a team of volunteers and leads cross functional teams
- Serves as backup for FOCIS website administration, user support and jurisdictional management
Qualifications:
- 5-7 yrs. related job experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience; BA degree
- Experience in implementing and advancing programs, projects, and initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and project management skills
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint
- Power BI Experience strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain a high-level of confidentiality and works with integrity
- Ability to manage multiple projects cross-functionally.
- Experienced in creation and delivery of leadership presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in an individual and team environment
- Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
