Ancestry’s Product Growth organization is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Growth to help lead our new user onboarding flow. Experimenting with the new user experience is one of the most impactful levers of the product. As an owner of the flow, you could quickly make an impact. The Product Growth team owns other levers, such as the freemium product. Our team’s purpose is to always push the envelope of what is best for the customer. We move fast – running both big and small experiments.

What You’ll Do:

  • In close collaboration with the Product Analytics team, you will analyze significant amounts of data to identify the biggest opportunities to solve customer needs and drive business impact.
  • You will work closely with the User Research team to identify the why in our quantitative data and form strong hypotheses on how we could help customers. We learn fast and work on a high volume of experiments.
  • You will be responsible for continuing to feed into our experimentation velocity of generating as many ideas and scoping experiments with Design and Engineering teams to learn as fast as possible.

Who You Are:

  • At least 2-3+ years of product management and/or growth marketing experience is preferred
  • Or if you have 2-3+ years of experience working business or product analytics, user experience (UX) product management, or similar role(s) on customer-facing web properties
  • Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative research to identify product opportunities and prioritize your roadmap
  • Experience leading optimization programs that embrace a customer-centric approach to identifying product needs, a continuous cycle of iterative design, product ideation & testing: designing roadmaps, A/B testing, analysis, generating insights, calculating business impact
  • Ability to capture insights from growth experiments successes and failures, and communicate to a broader team
  • Ability to challenge all members of a cross-functional team (engineering, design, analytics, marketing, etc.) to think boldly and creatively and then to funnel that energy into concrete products and execution plans
