Position Summary: The Senior Product Designer will lead research, design and prototyping to help build products that facilitate an outstanding customer experience.
60% of time: Improve and own the UX for RoadRUnner’s product pillars: internal we b applications, external web and mobile applications (mostly internal web applications)
25% Contribute to design system
15% Collaborate with designers and cross functional teams
Requirements:

- Job Responsibilities:
- Experience building products, developing component-based design systems and adapting brand guidelines to create scalable systems across products.
- Employ design thinking to translate insights into detailed user journey maps and experience flows that inform future enhancements
- Architect experiences based on customer and business requirements that come to life through detailed wireframes, mockups, and flows that can be delivered by technology team
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to develop beyond the obvious customer and experience insights on bottlenecks and enablers to delivering great User Experiences that drive customer behavior
- Work across technical and non-technical teams to ensure initiative requirements meet experience imperatives; serve as a resource to those teams as they work through user flows and experience designs
- Identify and set product strategy, envision complex UX ecosystems, and inspire product teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible
- Proactively identify requirements and / or feature gaps within new and ongoing initiatives across departments; put forth actionable solutions and designs that address stated experience concerns and meet business / financial requirements
- Plan and facilitate design thinking workshops with cross functional partners to better understand needs and experiences to achieve business results
- Necessary Skills
- FIGMA or similar tool required (FIGMA is highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of human interaction design (able to design websites the human psychology like human psychology)
- Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp the tactical details.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills is dynamic, and can capture a group’s interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view.
- Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs.
- Strong analytical and problem solving. Solid decision making in a timely manner.
