Senior Paid Search Associate
We are looking for a Senior Paid Search Associate to join our fast-moving Go to Market team within our Marketing division. In this role, the Senior Paid Search Associate will work to manage the day-to-day operations and support strategy for Paid Search, Pay Per Lead, and other miscellaneous Digital Lead Generation initiatives. You are always on the hunt to improve performance, diving into analytics or tackling new marketing challenges head on.
The Team: The Go-To-Market team sits within the Marketing Department’s Brand & Performance Team. The Brand and Performance Marketing team is making athenahealth the best known, most admired company in our category. We’re establishing brand leadership, by deploying a full-funnel go-to-market strategy and execution engine in support of our Vision and growth agenda.
Job Responsibilities
- Management of the Paid Search channel in collaboration with internal partners and Paid Media agency, including but not limited to the following tasks: landing page testing, reporting, relationship management with Google and Microsoft, sales trainings, campaign creation, support of bid and budget management.
- Strong oversight, partnership, and management of Paid Media agency who will be leading day-to-day Paid Search operations and strategy.
- Management of the Pay Per Lead channel, including but not limited to the following tasks: reporting, platform bidding, budget management, sales trainings, partner evaluation and recommendations.
- Management of miscellaneous Digital Lead Generation programs including Cost per Click programs; responsibilities including but not limited to the following tasks: reporting, partner analysis and optimization, sourcing and activating new partnerships to test, budget management
- Report out to Sales & Marketing leadership on health, efficiency, and performance of channels on a regular basis.
Typical Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree required
- 2+ years of paid search marketing experience, preferably with a B2B company and/or at an agency, preferably with experience in pharma/healthcare specifically
- Experience working cross functionally with teams including Sales
- Experience analyzing and reporting out on campaign performance data, and applying insights to future campaigns
- Google Ad Words Certification strongly preferred, will be required upon hire
- Google and Microsoft (Bing) paid search management
- Basic understanding of lead generation best practices
