Position Summary

With limited supervision, manage the strategy and execution of digital media at National University System (NUS) and other affiliates. Update the optimizations in the platforms and budget changes to impact performance and increase lead volume ultimately generating revenue for NUS. Develop and implement optimizations across a variety of digital platforms with up to a 25 MM yearly budget.

Essential Functions

  • Manages paid search and paid social campaigns, making monetary decisions impacting performance and directly influencing the lead-generation (revenue).
  • Creates strategy and builds-out campaigns; launches and manages campaigns, reviewing performance and making changes in the platforms on day-to-day basis.
  • Executes multivariate test, including ad copy and landing pages to reach performance targets.
  • Conducts competitive research on a regular basis to keep a pulse on the space in order to plan, identify and report new opportunities.
  • Owns reporting, analysis and communication of channel performance on a regular basis, including forecasting.
  • Makes continuous recommendations to meet conversion goals and lower cost per conversion metric based on analysis and insights learned from historical campaign results.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Marketing, required;
  • and, five (5) to seven (7) years’ relevant experience in managing paid search marketing campaigns with large-scale budgets;
  • inclusive of three (3) to four (4) yeas’ experience in business analysis and data mining within a project management environment;
  • or, equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of paid search and paid media landscape, including strategizing, planning, executing online marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition through a variety of paid media channels, e.g. paid search/PPC, paid social media, display advertising (video/mobile) and other digital marketing tools.
  • Keeps abreast of digital media trends and current challenges, including optimization techniques and best practices.
  • Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form; strong attention to details.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individual of constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Work independently and foster a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team of diverse cultures, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities.

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position.

Compensation Range: Annual Salary: $56,890.00 – $76,800.00
