Senior Operational Excellence Product Manager

Location: United States – Remote

THE ROLE

The Senior Operational Excellence Product Manager is accountable for driving geographic expansion of our fulfillment and logistics capabilities both in our systems and processes. They are comfortable learning best practices, identifying gaps in the current state, developing an execution plan, and driving the change management and implementation of a new technology or process.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, maintain and execute strategic roadmap with pipeline of initiatives for digital capabilities enhancements and process improvements based on Business Needs and requirements
  • Create and use analytics to uncover new insights/trends on logistics operations and performance, incl. Fulfillment and transportation; Utilize performance insights to ideate new opportunities for continuous process or technology improvement
  • Define, coordinate, project manage operational improvements across each geography balancing trade offs between time to implement and the sophistication of the solution (e.g., using MVPs)
  • Lead and execute the documentation of current-state and future-state business process requirements including data flows, configurations, and reporting needs
  • Actively manage / influence/ collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders at various levels of the organization and software provider teams during project execution to deliver projects predictably, within scope and on-time; actively manage senior stakeholder with focus on product vision and roadmap development
  • Commitment to overall team and company success with a willingness to assist with duties outside of scope as needed
  • Hands-on responsibility driving user stories, use cases, and ensuring a successful customer experience through feature prioritization, team-assigned tasks and pre-release testing

QUALIFICATIONS

We’re looking for confident, motivated, competitive, and innovative individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to work in a fast-changing environment filled with ambiguity. Desired characteristics/ qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree program, ideally in business, supply chain, agriculture or other related fields.
  • 8+ years experience in project management, business operations, product management or hands-on strategic roles
  • 4+ years of relevant logistics execution experience in ecommerce or freight preferred
  • Analytical skill set, with experience developing analysis and reports utilizing Excel/Google Sheets, and Tableau or similar visualization tool experience preferred
  • Business process management experience and six sigma certified preferred
  • Good understanding of Transportation Management Systems or Warehouse Management Systems preferred
  • Ability to operate effectively within ambiguity and manage competing priorities
  • Strong cross-functional communication as well as an ability to influence without authority
  • A willingness to work in a fast-paced, self-guided, and ever-changing environment
  • FBN experience preferred
