Your Mission:

As an experienced Media Strategist, your role will be to support and develop the paid and organic pricing strategy for influencer marketing campaigns in partnership with Creative Strategy, Talent and Account Management teams. This role ensures that every proposal delivers the best experience for our clients and aligns with Captiv8’s business parameters. You will be tasked with managing multiple proposals simultaneously and demonstrating initiative to problem solve. You are organized and like to define and apply best practices.

Problems You’ll Solve:

    • Strategic Media Planning, Pricing and Packaging 60%
    • Support Creative Strategy team in building out the pricing and media strategy for both paid and organic RFP responses
    • Develop competitive packaging recommendations in tandem with proposal development
    • Deliver quality control and consistency that builds trust with our clients and partners.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop pricing structures for offerings and innovations
    • Applied Learnings, New Offerings 15%
    • Proactively learn new media strategies and placements for social and influencer marketing
    • Communicate and collaborate across teams (Brand Management, Yield, Sales) to take learnings from past campaigns and develop develop best practices that can scale across the organization
    • Work with 3rd party vendors to scope solutions to support proposals
    • Partner with cross-functional teams and third party partners to develop innovative offerings
    • Be a thought leader in media strategy while pushing the envelope on how we work with creators and platforms.
    • Project Management 25%
    • Work with internal teams like talent and sales ops to align on margin and yield management
    • Improve workflows and processes to increase efficiency of deal development, especially related to non-standard deals
    • Be a trusted partner with sales and support client revisions in a timely fashion

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of media buying and planning (preference for social media and/or influencer planning)
  • Proven track record of developing and communicating nuanced media tactics within a larger scope
  • Experience with distribution digital distribution channels, especially within a creator + social space (including but not limited to social platforms)
  • Entrenched in the digital/social media and branded content landscape with a pulse on influencer trends, social behavior, and platform features (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, Twitch and Linkedin)
  • Superb project management skills to manage multiple programs at various stages internally & externally
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to brainstorm new offerings/applications and come up with creative solutions
  • Comfortable with Google Suite, specifically spreadsheets and pivot tables
