The Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy is responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for those visiting CVS.com and the CVS pharmacy app from marketing communications.
The ideal candidate must possess a relentless passion and dedication to achieving the best possible journey for CVS customers. This person will be responsible for maintaining a highly trafficked section of the site, including CMS management, tag management, journey mapping, test and learn strategies and continuous SEO improvement. Strategic content development is an important function of this role. Working knowledge of programming languages such as CSS or HTML is also preferred. Ideal candidate will be extremely comfortable with data including performance analysis and providing insights.
Key Responsibilities
– Strategy Development:
Develop effective marketing plans to drive pharmacy patient acquisition, retention, and digital engagement to deliver against business objectives.
Plan development includes building learning agendas that combine customer insights, business data, and competitive analysis to determine the business opportunity and the translation of those insights into key strategies.
– Plan Execution:
Leads execution of all project deliverables, including, but not limited to, brief development, collaboration with internal subject matter experts in Digital, Creative, In-store Experience, Procurement, and collaboration with Operations on field readiness, and Legal review of materials.
– Innovate:
Bring new and innovate ideas to drive pharmacy growth by way of new services, channels, partnerships, activations, or other sources of value.
– Drive Results:
Proactively partners with Insights, Media & Analytics to establish KPIs and align on a measurement plan against key metrics.
Actively develop trusted relationships across a large, complex organization to create clear goals, accountabilities and outcomes, specific focus on Digital, Media, Creative and Agency partners.
– Team Leadership:
Mentor and coach team to develop top performers and marketing athletes. This is inclusive of articulating roles and responsibilities, creating accountability, and providing feedback on performance.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 158,300
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of marketing experience with a foundation of business, retailer, and consumer understanding.
4+ years of cross-functional leadership experience
2+ years of digital content development experience including SEO and experience mapping.
Strong understanding of measuring and manipulating data and identifying insights.
Strong understanding of test and control methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a matrixed organization
Proficient in digital and technical terminology
Working knowledge of programming languages such as CSS or HTML

Self-motivated, high-capacity individual who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment.
Prior experience working with an external agency partner ability to provide strategic direction, feedback and ensure creative is delivered on strategy
Omni-channel marketing experience, digital marketing with an understanding for both paid and owned assets
Education
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required
