This is a remote position that could be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.
At Calix, we are constantly working and innovating to ensure that we are interacting with customers and prospects in new ways and developing new programs. This role will launch new programs targeting executive and line of business targets and growth segments. These programs will leverage digital, in person, and hybrid activities. This person will also play a key role in planning including performance analysis and building forward-looking models. The successful person in this role will have deep strategic marketing expertise, a track record of building innovative event and experience programs, and deep analytical skills.
This role will be a flexible role and will work 35 hours per week, specifically around key conferences, and events, where the hours will be more demanding.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Developing, designing, and executing new customer leadership programs, especially for CEOs/General Managers and Marketers. Activities will include partnering with content experts to develop agendas, creating innovative engagement activities, targeted communications, ensuring strong follow-ups and outcomes.
- Research, analyze and prepare strategic recommendations based on data-based decisions that support Events Leadership’s key initiatives to ensure Calix will stay best-in-class.
- Provide end of quarter/year performance analysis; this may be used to communicate broadly across teams at all levels.
- Create in-depth presentations based on key findings that may require quick turnaround.
- Leading execution on high-visibility programs at the annual Connexions conference. This may include supporting executive experiences, establishing new session types or tracks.
Qualifications:
- Calix requires all employees based in North America who will work onsite at a Calix office, attend in-person meetings, and/or travel on behalf of Calix to be fully vaccinated. Calix will consider requests for reasonable accommodations as required under applicable law.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 10+ years of significant corporate marketing experience, some of which must have been within the General Manager/CEO/Executive Persona.
- Ability to work independently with strict deadlines is critical.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- An in-depth understanding of events marketing and analysis.
- Ability to multi-task and work with changing priorities is a must.
