How will you make an impact?

This Sr. Manager of Marketing Operations and Analytics will work closely with business, commercial, operations, analytics and IT colleagues and as a result will need to seamlessly be able to work in these different worlds; understand what is important to your key partners and deliver with excellence. You will be responsible for leading team members to advance and mature our marketing operations, and analytics and sales enablement functions to meet the evolving and growing needs of the business to drive key growth initiatives.

As a key member of the marketing leadership team, you will be a self-starter who can work both independently and with a team, be self-motivated and encourage the same in the team, be highly adaptable and flexible with an ability to change direction when needed and clearly communicate such change in a timely and visible fashion inclusive of key organizational management principles. You will be a decisive, strategic planner, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, have excellent problem-solving skills, have strong business and budgeting savvy, and display calmness and composure under stress or uncertainty, inspiring team members and partners. Additionally, you will effectively interact with and relate to people at all levels; have the opportunity to move and influence a group, moving the team into a common direction and with a common vision.

What will you do?

  • Drive Marketing Operations and Analytics excellence inclusive of; vision (3 5-year outlook), strategy, implementation, and optimization
  • Manage a team to drive marketing process optimization, project management, marketing analytics, Practical Process Improvements, productivity programs, lead management and sales enablement
  • Partner with Division marketing to deliver operational efficiencies and critical metrics such as on-time delivery, accuracy, throughput, and other efficiency metrics as appropriate
  • Partner with Business Unit marketing to deliver marketing performance effectiveness dashboards to digital analytics, funnel analytics, database health and other vital dashboards
  • Partner with IT and other team members to use the marketing technology stack (digital, asset management, web, project management, etc.) and marketing data (data governance, accuracy, and quality) to enable more personalized marketing experiences
  • Partner with Commercial and marketing teams to improve sales and marketing alignment to deliver improved MQLs
  • Lead analytics team members to use analytics tools, create marketing analytics dashboards for division and Business Unit marketing, and support building a data-driven culture that can take data and derive insights from the data
  • Lead marketing operations to drive end-to-end marketing process improvements across the whole team from intake, creative development (copy and design), deployment, analytics and optimization. Responsible for the definition, automation and streamlining marketing operations processes.
  • Responsible for leading internal team Customer Allegiance Survey with our key partners and make vital adjustments to continually improve our support model to become the preferred partner
  • Coordinate marketing council to ensure close collaboration between marketing teams, drive marketing excellence including best practice sharing, etc
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure we are using our external agencies to support over-flow and scale up as volume increases while still maintaining 100% accuracy and on time delivery.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • 7+ years working in an Operations and/or Analytics leadership role in a fast-paced highly matrixed organization and leading a diverse global organization
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Portray interest and skill in data analyses and insights that result from such analyses; must demonstrate an ability to improve a business s marketing operations performance through seeking out opportunities and applying technical skills and advising the marketing department in the smooth shifting of gears between approaches and methods.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Excel (ie., pivot, macros)
  • Experience working in a project management tool, preferably Workfront
  • Must be a team leader and standout colleague with the ability to lead multiple projects and shifting priorities within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and able to talk with both technical and business colleagues
  • Experience establishing and maintaining business processes, documentation, and training materials
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues inside and outside the organization
  • Be able to convey business requirements to technical specifications
  • Have a desire to drive innovation and new ways of thinking within the marketing technology stack
  • Proficiency with reporting and business intelligence tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL
