The Senior Manager Digital Operations and Capacity Planning is a highly motivated and self-driven individual with operational expertise who will enable colleagues to understand, collaborate and fulfill obligations related to the Digital Engineering practice, as well as HR, finance and administrative business process requirements set by corporate functions, business initiatives, or legal/compliance. The ideal candidate will be able to assist Engineering leadership and their teams in driving achievement on operational priorities by coordinating critical activities, information deliverables or team events. They will have professional communication skills and be comfortable in communicating with senior managers and leaders; escalating issues effectively when warranted. They will enable value delivery and drive positive changes while collaborating with operational peers and cross-functional colleagues within the Digital organization. This role will foster trust and transparency, ensure clear and accessible team communications, data integrity and accuracy, and identify ways to streamline operational processes or create efficiencies that improve team productivity and engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the engineering leadership team in the areas of staff and capacity planning, budgeting and financials, and engineering delivery metrics and measurement. Define and standardize planning, metrics and process in these areas to enable and position engineering teams for success in a scaled organization.
- Personnel and Capacity planning – facilitate working groups including Product management, Engineering leaders, Human Resources, and Finance to determine Engineering capacity needs and ramp/change to support roadmaps. Determine and communicate the staffing strategy and mix of FTE, contract, and outsource distribution based on objectives, workload, and deliverable timelines.
- Budgeting and Financials – work closely with our finance partners and engineering leaders to fully understand and closely manage technology financial needs and spend, which includes capacity costs, tooling, education, travel and expense, and other areas of engineering budget. This will include consolidating and actively managing the engineering budget for yearly strategic planning.
- Work with Product, Agile Transformation Office, Engineering, Operations and other stakeholders to define, align, and operationalize the use of Engineering performance metrics to facilitate a focus on continuous improvement and refinement of engineering best practices, agile engineering practices, development lifecycle, and process definition.
- The candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams, utilize project management and executive presentation skills and will be a strong customer advocate and influence without authority.

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 162,700
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall IT/Digital experience
- 3+ years of experience in developing capacity plans and workforce strategy
- 3+ years of leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Exemplary leadership and management skills. Superb communication and presentation skills. The candidate must be able to think and act globally.
- Experience working with executives, colleagues and leaders of all levels in Digital or IT/technical teams, and understanding their priorities and goals
- Extensive experience in administration, operational project management and event planning
- Must have excellent problem-solving, communication skills and a strong track record of delivering results.
- Knowledge/experience in the Healthcare space, B2C and/or B2B is a plus
Education
Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or equivalent work experience is required
