Senior Manager, Brand Marketing


How will this role have an impact?

The Sr. Manager of Brand Marketing is an entrepreneurial brand and marketing communications leader who supports all aspects of our brand, building awareness, reputation, and preference among our B2C and B2B audiences. The Sr. Manager of Brand Marketing role is data-driven and vital in supporting Signify’s corporate goals.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Brand and Marketing Services, this individual is responsible for establishing and maintaining an overarching brand strategy that reaches diverse audiences from healthcare consumers, potential and current employees to clients, prospects, influencers, and the media. The director represents the brand’s voice and drives a unified brand experience across all channels and touchpoints.

The Sr. Manager is a consummate brand storyteller and a strong marketing communications leader. They will bring a strategic, growth mindset focusing on making an impact. This individual enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is skilled at tracking KPIs and converting them into meaningful insights to guide marketing decisions.

The Sr. Manager will also be a key brand ambassador with CVS Health, our parent company, and establish strategies and brand guidelines for when and how we go to market together.


  • Convey the Signify Health brand story across all audiences
  • Create & manage communications programs (internal/external) to drive awareness and excitement about Signify
  • Oversee brand-level messaging and consistency on and other owned channels (e.g., social media sites).
  • Work closely with other parts of Marketing to proactively drive the website content plan and regular updates across the site. Measure all aspects of brand performance.
  • Lead and implement brand-level content marketing initiatives across multiple channels (e.g., website, email, social etc.) to increase audience engagement.
  • Develop a range of digital and non-digital materials to successfully convey the Signify brand story (slides, collateral, digital assets, social media descriptors, etc.).
  • Monitor Signify’s brand presence and proactively recommend programs and activities to boost awareness with B2C and B2B audiences
  • Own Signify’s corporate signage and environmental branding program, considering both physical locations and virtual channels.
  • Partner with HR and Strategic Communications on employee branding efforts and marketing campaigns targeting prospective employees and positioning Signify as an employer of choice. Ensure a strong presence on Glassdoor and other hiring sites.
  • Identify and manage external agencies and resources to help execute high-quality digital and traditional materials to support the brand
  • Ensure brand standards are maintained across the organization; audit materials from other departments and work with leaders to appropriately represent Signify’s visual identity, style and tone
  • Regularly track and report on KPIs to identify program performance and uncover areas for improvement

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Deep functional expertise in branding, digital marketing and marketing communications with a proven track record of driving business results through disruptive brand marketing programs
  • Experience in agency partner selection and ongoing management
  • Passionate about what they do, intellectually curious and a fast learner
  • Excellent communication (both written and oral) and presentation skills
  • Excels at working cross-functionally and aligning multiple stakeholders
  • The ability to think creatively to integrate problem-solving and structured thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to lead corporate-level marketing campaigns from ideation to development through execution and measurement
  • Experience managing websites and other online properties
  • Self-motivated with strong project management and analytical skills; exceptional attention to detail

Core Qualifications

  • 5-7 years corporate brand and marketing communications experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, HubSpot, Adobe Analytics, brand monitoring platforms, and all social platforms
  • Healthcare industry experience

What will you do?

  • Generate favorable brand awareness and sentiment and create client interest through differentiated brand messaging, content marketing, storytelling, digital marketing, web content and a robust speaking engagement/events program. Tight linkage with Product/Segment Marketing and Strategic Communications.
  • Inspire next-generation thinking about ways to differentiate and credential Signify to targeted customers and other stakeholder groups.
  • Build a shared services model to plan, execute, test and measure multi-channel marketing programs — reaching the right audiences at right time with right messages.
  • Proactively prepare and present integrated marketing plans, including objectives, strategy, audience, messages, tactics, resourcing and timing.
  • Develop plan for optimizing owned, earned and paid placements.
  • Partner with HR leaders on talent acquisition marketing and employer branding initiatives.
  • Establish guidelines and lead branding initiatives that support Signify’s ongoing growth and development, including partnership programs and acquisitions.
  • Oversee execution for key priorities and integrated marketing campaigns; identify consistent processes and ROI success measures.
  • Track, analyze and report on key measures of success (brand awareness, engagement, digital marketing/website results, followers, etc.)

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Brand/Digital Marketing/Marketing Communications, including a team leadership role.
  • Marketing or Business degree required.
  • Design experience a plus, but not required.
