As the Senior Field and Partner Events Manager, you directly affect how we accelerate pipeline by crafting the right engagement strategies for our sales teams.

What you can do for Expel:
- Understand the unique needs of our market segments, typical members of the buying team and their motivations as it relates to Expel’s offerings and differentiators
- Maintain direct alignment with the sales team to understand their goals and challenges so you can recommend solutions
- Work collaboratively with sales to plan, coordinate and implement programs that deliver a high-quality experience for prospects
- Consistently communicate program details, expectations and responsibilities to sales about programs you lead
- Evaluate program efficacy and pipeline impact and recommend optimizations
- Coordinate with partner sales managers to engage partners alongside direct sales as appropriate
- Contribute to coordinated marketing plans to align your event content with key messages, audiences and buyer journey needs
What to bring with you:
- Ability to engender trust quickly across marketing and sales teams
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate with colleagues cross-functionally to drive programs to completion
- Self-motivated to closely run programs that get results
- Basic contract skills
- Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.com
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Eloqua or Marketo
- Familiarity with one or more event property and supply digital ordering and shipping systems
- 7+ years working in field and/or partner marketing within B2B software/SaaS business
- Bachelor’s degree or a compelling story
Additional Notes
The base salary range for this role is between $98,000 USD and $142,100 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.
We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits
Our headquarters is in Herndon, Virginia. However, we realize that while there is a benefit to in-person interaction, good people don’t all live in Northern Virginia. Remote work is an option for this role.
