You would come in to directly manage a team of 4 experienced web engineers as well as coordinate with stakeholders across the company from Design to Product to Marketing to ensure that our projects are delivered with a high bar for quality and customer-centricity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of modern web technologies and a passion for creating engaging and intuitive user experiences. • Maintaining a prioritized backlog of foundation work that includes new/emerging technologies and industry trends that will increase the team’s efficiency and support the developer wellness index of the team.
  • Drive the development of new features and enhancements through collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Design, Data Science, and Backend engineering to ensure that user experience goals are aligned with technical requirements and constraints.
  • Be a touchpoint for technical inquiries and participate in architectural, design, and product discussions with cross-functional leaders across the organization to drive the right decision-making for the long-term success of our Web applications.
  • Collaborate with other Engineering managers to align goals, standards, and processes across the organization.
  • Lead by example and hold your teammates and yourself to high engineering standards by advocating a sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability.
  • Champion, role model, and embody TuneIn’s core values (Customer Centricity, Operational Excellence, and Teamwork) as we scale globally and across new offices.

Minimum requirements for the role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in full-stack web development, including building APIs.
