Job Description
As a Senior Engineering Manager on Attune’s Engineering team, you’ll be a key partner to the CTO, driving team success and business results. You will foster an environment of curiosity and growth, while executing on individual and team KPIs that have a direct impact on Attune’s success. This role has a huge path upward with huge potential for growth and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Be a strong leader for our engineering team, and a strong partner to CTO and leadership team.
- Lead and drive significant results for multiple teams: initially you will be responsible for two key teams and their impact.
- Support team hiring, not only with interviewing but also training, strategizing, etc.
- Be a strong people leader for your teams: strong management cadence (1:1s, etc), performance, career development, feedback, coaching, and more
- Work closely with leadership to draft quarterly OKRs (company, team, and individuals)
- Be product-centric: focus on the customer & use the customer as a lens for high quality technical & operational decisions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional business partners, product managers, and peer EMs
Qualifications:
- You have 7+ years of engineering experience with escalating responsibility, with [3+] years of management experience.
- You’ve managed individual engineering teams to success, and are comfortable with the ambiguity and tight situations that come with growing teams.
- You’ve led key engineering initiatives that directly impacted the business.
- You are a strong cross-functional partner, able to translate business needs to your technical team and vice-versa.
- You are a humble, curious leader who always gives others the benefit of any doubt.
