Senior Designer, Growth
Virta Health is on a mission to transform diabetes care and reverse the type 2 diabetes epidemic. As Senior Designer, Growth, you’ll be a key player on Virta’s User Experience Design team, leading the design of experiences that grow our reach and help more people to reverse type 2 diabetes and live healthier lives. In this role, you’ll lead the design and execution of growth and activation initiatives like building and optimizing landing pages, designing end-to-end marketing campaign assets and rationalizing design decisions based on real world evidence and testing. Ideally you’re a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, is able to turn real-world insights into functional, elegant design solutions, and can design across different disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Lead design of growth projects and advocate for user-centered design best practices for landing pages, emails, pop-up forms, and other digital assets
- Design, test, and iterate on effective, aesthetically pleasing landing pages to drive Virta Health’s growth initiatives
- Partner closely with marketing and product teams as the design point of contact for all growth-related initiatives
- Help out with other design initiatives and projects when needed
- Embody Virta’s cultural values and encourage others to do the same
90 Day Plan
Within your first 90 days at Virta, we expect you will do the following:
- Audit and take stock of existing growth marketing materials and propose improvements based on your experience
- Build cross-team relationships with partners from marketing, product, and within the design team
- Learn the design team’s process and systems and propose any changes where you see we can improve
Must-Haves
- 5+ years experience designing digital marketing assets like landing pages, emails, pop-up forms and data visualizations with a keen eye for detail.
- Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Indesign,Illustrator)
- Experience as a key point of contact for business stakeholders
- Experience working in website building/CMS tools like Webflow or WordPress
- A strong and versatile portfolio or case studies that demonstrates a broad range of knowledge, skills, projects, and mediums
- You are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is able to identify areas of improvement and take initiative
- Some experience conducting your own user research to inform design decisions
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working in healthcare, health tech, wellness, or related field
- Experience in video editing and motion graphics design
- Experience writing front-end code like HTML, CSS and Javascript
