Position Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software Designer join our dynamic software engineering team. As a software Designer, you will play a critical role in transforming conceptual ideas into detailed software requirements and specifications. Your expertise will be pivotal in guiding and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, experience in using Quality Management System (QMS) software products, and a proven track record of delivering solutions to manufacturing related challenges.
Responsibilities:
Design: Lead the development of detailed software requirements and specifications, translate conceptual ideas into practical and functional software solutions while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Manufacturing Industry Expertise: Demonstrate a profound knowledge of principles, systems, and methodologies to solve complex manufacturing and ERP challenges. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and advancements in the manufacturing industry.
Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, product managers, software engineers, quality engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure an effective and high-quality software solution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience in the manufacturing design, software design, or engineering fields, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior capacity
- Extensive experience with a Quality Management System (QMS) software product. Experience with TIPQA or TIPSFE a plus
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing principles, procedures, processes, and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in order to design software solutions which will resolve complex manufacturing challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work
