About the role:
Plans and coordinates virtual and in-person education programs of varying sizes in support of in-house and external WATCHMAN Product Education. Develops on-site and off-site plans and budgets. Investigates, coordinates, arranges and contracts for hotel accommodations, vendor services, travel and ground transportation, communications and facilities support. Directs multiple service contractors and subcontractors orchestrating large-scale events supporting healthcare providers and senior company executives.

Your responsibilities will include:

Develops and conducts product training and education programs for company personnel and external customers that support area and company goals.
Collaborates with Medical Education and Skills Training team members to create programs to ensure learning objectives are successfully met. This includes proposals, budget management, and project management.
Develops and maintains databases and ensures information is complete and accurate.
Creates and reports metrics to senior leadership and internal partners.
Organizes and facilitates program planning meetings (e.g., strategy sessions, progress checks) to ensure that all parties involved are properly informed and contributing, as necessary, to assure program success and to ensure that program objectives are met.
Develops program collateral for education continuum and programs.
Communicates with customers to coordinate logistics for their participation in the event (e.g., hotel, transportation, schedule).
Develops relationships with faculty, fellows, and attendees to encourage continued participation and to foster positive relationships between Boston Scientific and clinicians.
Communicates with management and sales representatives to coordinate their participation by determining the nature of their involvement and informing them of the logistical details.
Provides direction to third party vendors by meeting to incorporate ideas, goals, and budget and to ensure vendor has clear concept of what is required for the final product.
Manages all aspects of registration for courses including invitations, travel and hotel accommodations to ensure that logistics are effectively managed for all participants and faculty.
Attends events to ensure that details associated with participants, lodging, equipment needs, guest speakers and agendas are attended to and that problems are corrected.
Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems and process being used.
Evaluates the effectiveness of programs by soliciting participant feedback, summarizing results, and formulating recommendations to determine successes and areas of improvement, which will be used to improve subsequent program effectiveness.
Archives all documents and records pertaining to program management (e.g., research files, contracts, agreements, correspondence) by maintaining secure files to ensure program/project information remains confidential and is available for future reference.
Prepares status reports by analyzing and compiling data, projections, and relevant information for submission to management to ensure pertinent issues, changes, and updates are communicated.
Participates in special projects as they arise.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience preferably in the medical device industry and or combination of education and experience
Candidate must have appetite for innovation and continuous learning
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with physician customers and sales teams
Team Player, must be a strong communicator and collaborator
Ability to develop new processes and adjust practices as needed to meet business or team needs
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred qualifications:

Previous experience with supporting systematic training in a field-based/lab-based setting, preferred CRM and Fellows experience
Strong project management and organization skills; detail-oriented; methodical; Previous project management experience
Experience with database development and maintenance
