Each day, millions of people worry if they’ll get through class, work or a trip to the store without an accident. In the Pelvic Health Operating Unit, our goal is to expand access to our therapies so we can help millions of people get their lives back.

The Sr. Conventions Specialist will play a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and coordinating national conventions, regional conferences, and select international conventions. This position is critical in building the brand and contributing to business growth through strategic planning and tradeshow execution. The role requires extensive planning, project management, attention to detail, internal and external coordination, budget management, and a marketing mindset to optimize tradeshow investments.

This position can be remote within the United States.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Event Planning and Strategy

  • Develop the annual convention strategy aligned with our product and operating unit priorities and in coordination with cross-functional partners.
  • Execute all planning objectives for National, Regional, and Local conferences while ensuring detailed organization and communication with internal teams.
  • Manage the annual conventions budget and align key decisions with leadership.
  • 30%-40% Travel Required

Vendor and Stakeholder Management

  • Develop strong working relationships with vendors and internal partners, ensuring high expectations for project execution.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including leadership team and speakers, to ensure their needs are met.
  • Work closely with medical societies to negotiate convention sponsorships and activations.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Engage with the marketing team to align tradeshows with campaigns, messaging, and marketing objectives.
  • Lead asset development and booth design for tradeshows.
  • Ensure all assets, messaging, and signage are approved and aligned with regulatory, legal and clinical requirements.
  • Drive engagement of healthcare professionals (HCPs) and lead generation to maximize awareness and education of offerings.

On-site Event Management

  • Attend and manage the tradeshow booth at all US conferences, including vendors, sales teams, leadership VIP meetings, and other critical on-site functions.
  • Oversee and coordinate the set-up and breakdown of event spaces.
  • Manage registration processes and attendee communications.

Post-event Evaluation

  • Conduct post-event debriefs to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze attendee feedback and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure event impact and send report to leadership.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in managing tradeshows, meeting/event planning, or similar experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • CMP and CTSM Certification preferred.
  • Experience executing Tradeshow strategies with a company in the medical device, life science, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of medical device regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Solid experience in a large corporate environment with a complex matrix culture.
  • Track record of building impactful marketing initiatives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to set, track and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while driving alignment with stakeholders at all levels.
