The Senior Communications Specialist will become a part of a small Communications team that is responsible for producing and maintaining over 500 communications per year for five (5) different assets. These Communications have an audit and regulatory impact. The team also supports over twenty (20) intranet sites, and produces flyers and newsletters.
The Senior Communications Specialist will be working with Operational teams to solicit and understand information for communications that will be distributed to an audience ranging from 200 to 10000 readers. Associate should be familiar with working with a diverse set of peers ranging from Engineers to Senior Directors.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) OR 5+ years of Communications Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Copy Editing, HTML, CSS and MS Products
- 3+ years of experience in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- 3+ years of experience in Illustrator, Indesign and MS Visio
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Markdown

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
