RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer in Rosemont, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Senior Cloud Security Engineer will design and Implementation experience with Enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
- Create documentation around the design and implementation of cloud security patterns
Schedule:
- Workdays: Monday – Friday (8:30 am to 5:00pm CST)
- Fully Remote; Candidates can live anywhere in the US
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 8 years of experience in IT security, compliance, or risk management
- Hands-on technical expertise in technology automation, implementation, integration, and/or deployment
- Excellent understanding of Secure Internet protocols and AWS mechanisms and their design and implementation
- Hands on experience with identifying Security vulnerabilities and defining solutions to provide a secure low/production environment
- Understanding architectural implications of meeting industry standards such as IAM, SSO, WAF & Shield, Security Hub, Guard Duty, AWS Network Firewall, KMS, Inspector, etc.
- Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption
- Experience in performing security assessments and information system audits of network, operating systems, application security, as well as auditing IT processes
- Strong experience with design and implementation of scalable authorization and authentication system to access AWS resources using AWS IAM
- Hands on experience with AWS CloudFormation for writing templates of AWS IAM Roles/Policies
- Hands on experience on design and implementation of S3 bucket policies for cross account access. Additionally, having good experience with access/resource policies for various AWS services such as Elastic Search, API Gateway, VPC Endpoints, SNS
- Hands on experience with AWS CLI, Bash/PowerShell, Python scripting specially with boto3 sdk
- Understanding of security operations and associated risks
