The Sr. Enterprise Business Architect is responsible for SNC’s business architecture and adoption, initiating architecture engagement with key enterprise initiatives to better understand the business vision. Using capability, value stream, process, and other business architecture analysis, he/she works with other Enteprise Architects to develop and support assigned enterprise initiatives through strategic blueprints and roadmaps. He/she facilitates coordination with business area leadership & architects, SMEs, IT leadership, Cyber Security, Data Management, and the Enterprise PMO to understand and align to SNC’s business strategy.
This role is open to a hybrid schedule or 100% remote work in most states
Responsibilities:
Develop Enterprise Architecture deliverables in support of assigned enterprise initiatives. Build the current state and future state blueprints from the business architecture domain perspective.
Establish and foster strong relationships with customers, service providers, vendor partners, technical peers and technical and executive management with special attention to business stakeholders to ensure understanding of business drivers and strategy.
Support architecture governance to ensure alignment of IT products/projects with Enterprise Architecture standards, blueprints, and roadmaps.
Reduce costs and risks by reducing duplication and redundancy across capabilities and solutions.
Interface with the respective PMO to recommend prioritization of projects based on strategic alignment.
Drive complex business strategies and initiatives into actionable roadmaps for multiple with clear direction on execution to ensure business value and ROI.
Act as a subject matter expert on with advanced knowledge on topics related to business architecture, including people, processes, business capabilities, and value streams.

Lead standarization and guidelines specific to the business architecture domain.
Run knowledge sharing sessions and provide architecture consulting services for IT and other stakeholder teams.
Produce models and designs for business, roles, organizations, data, applications, systems integration, services and other architecture views and viewpoints as needed to support blueprints and roadmaps.
Must-haves:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with at least 10 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Extensive experience with enterprise architecture, capability planning, and alignment of IT to corporate and BU strategy
Experience with drafting reference architecture, and with business architecture frameworks and techniques
Experience designing, developing, and integrating applications
Vendor management experience
Ability to conceptualize and develop abstract representations
Innovative and creative thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and a diplomatic, executive presence.
Results focused, with an ability to influence and facilitate diverse groups
Preferred:
A&D industry business experience.
TOGAF experience
Experience producing models and designs for business, roles, organizations, data, applications, systems integration, services and other architecture views and viewpoints as needed to support blueprints and roadmaps.
Understanding of business processes and organization culture
Experience developing and institutionalizing an enterprise perspective
Track record for remaining unbiased toward any specific technology or vendor; and being more interested in results than personal preferences
