Responsibilities
- Data Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to elicit and document clear and comprehensive data requirements.
- Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of existing data sources, systems, and structures.
- Data Dictionaries: Create and maintain UI data dictionaries. Ensure data dictionaries are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- UI to Reports to Database Mapping: Collaborate with UI designers, report developers, and data teams to map user interface components to report requirements and underlying database structures. Ensure alignment between the front-end UI, report outputs, and the data sources.
- Report Data Requirements: Gather data requirements specific to reporting needs. Identify key metrics, dimensions, filters, and aggregations required for each report. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for report developers.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with business owners, product owners, and end-users to ensure a clear understanding of their needs and expectations. Facilitate communication and alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Agile Practices: Apply Safe Agile methodologies and practices to drive efficient and collaborative delivery. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data-related deliverables.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data requirements and analysis.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data analysis techniques, and data governance principles.
- Experience with creating and maintaining data dictionaries or data catalogs.
- Proficiency in mapping UI components to reports and underlying databases.
- Knowledge of SQL and database querying.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Safe Agile practices and frameworks.
- Analytical mindset and the ability to translate business needs into technical or data requirements.
- CMS or Medicare and/or Medicaid experience is preferred.

Salary Inforamtion:
- The pay for this position ranges from $65,205 to $134,375.
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
