The Team:

As an engineer on our IAM Security team, you will work on securing the next generation scalable infrastructure platform that powers our products around the world. This team gives our cloud and runtime environments a competitive advantage in security and resiliency.

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for engineers to take our IAM Security program to the next level. The IAM Security team is chartered with keeping our systems secure across multiple cloud and runtime environments, such as kubernetes and other runtime environments. As an engineer, you will build solutions to assess security, prevent attacks, remediate vulnerabilities and drive down risk.

You will participate in the engineering efforts and partner with various engineering teams to ensure security concerns are addressed, build paved roads that establish secure-by-default configurations, and detect and protect critical threats that may impact our products.

You will participate in establishing the proper relationships to understand support models needed by teams as well as creating the proper metrics to show continuous improvements.

You’ll join at an ideal time to make a big impact, the product is seeing very high growth, with many new features to build as well as a need for scaling up dramatically. You’ll be involved in every step of the process defining organization, strategy, and executing while hiring world-class security, data analytics, and software engineers.

You Will:

  • Design, test, and implement scalable security solutions for our core cloud infrastructure, runtime environments, and services
  • Troubleshoot and manage the resolution of issues related identities, systems, access, accounts, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions
  • Work with our infra teams to secure services that support resilient, high velocity global deployment models across cloud and runtime environments without sacrificing availability and reliability
  • Focus on the visibility, detection capabilities, and preventive measures for our infrastructure
  • Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team

You Are:

  • Passionate and have demonstrated experience (at least 3 years) designing, building, and securing resilient applications and infrastructures at scale
  • Hands-on in systems integration or software engineering of identity and access management (IAM) solutions
  • Experienced beyond basic usage of cloud platforms, kubernetes, services, and runtimes
  • Focused and committed to the evolving security needs of engineering teams
  • Knowledgeable of cloud and cloud and runtime environments (preferably AWS), OS and Linux internals
  • Experienced with building tools and services using Golang, Python or other programming language

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in SRE/ DevOps is ideal
  • Proven experience working in geographically distributed teams
  • Are passionate about building products that engineers love and believe in the true outcome of security
  • You are confident representing your ideas and opinions in a manner that can be challenged and respond to feedback well
  • Certifications in cloud security (AWS Certified Security Specialty, Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Azure Security Engineer Associate)

These considerations potentially can cause your compensation to vary.
