The RFID Project Manager sits within the North America Sales Organization and will oversee the daily operations within Quoting, Sales, Product Management, R&D, Planning, and Order Management teams as it relates to ongoing RFID activities. Will be responsible for ensuring all parties are doing their part, pushing to gather missing pieces where necessary in order to move along opportunities quickly and accurately while remaining competitive. RFID Supplies knowledge a big plus.

This remote role must reside in the US within a moderate driving distance to a major airport. Preferential consideration will be given to qualified applicants residing in the central region. Minimum travel expected (< 10%).

Responsibilities:

  • Project Manage all P&E Opportunities from quote to verifying P&E to delivery of order (reduce time from PO to shipment and improve accuracy); own print and encode specification testing.
  • Provide additional support of quote request funnel to respond faster to inquiries.
  • Manage expedites with the planners at the plants to ensure all system changes are done to complete orders on time; coordinates with order management to make the system updates.
  • Weekly updates with RFID BDM to coordinate with BU processes.
  • Run large RFPs with Quoting and Sales to ensure all data is being gathered and EBCR’s are being prepared.
  • Manage RFID sample requests ensuring accuracy timely responses; including Print and Encode samples.
  • Provide ample backup support to sole RFID quoter for all quoting activities whenever OOO.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of RFID supplies experience or thermal barcode supplies experience
  • Must reside in the US within a moderate driving distance to a major airport. Preferential consideration will be given to qualified applicants residing in the central region. Minimum travel expected (< 10%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate presentation skills. Demonstrated comfort in presenting to peer level or one level up cross functional audiences.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of fundamentals with project management. approaches, tools and methodologies. PMP certification preferred or in progress.
  • Intermediate skills in PC based documentation tools including MS Office and MS Project.
  • Intermediate skills in delegation and follow up.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge/experience of technical business unit assigned to (Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.)
