Job Summary
As a key member of the MarTech and Analytic Solutions team, the Reporting Analyst will be responsible for building, modifying and running reports and telling the story of what the data means. This role serves as product owner of our data visualization and dashboarding technologies. The role supports gathering reporting requirements and provides ad hoc reporting support to teams across Thrivent Asset Management. In partnership with the Data & Technology team, this role maintains documentation of data usage and provides training to report and dashboard users.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Product owner of our visualization and dashboarding technologies. Define and prioritize enhancements to dashboards to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with end-users, business owners, and leadership to define specific reporting requirements including: key data points, timing, display, and distribution.
- Develop reporting solutions and analytics designed to meet the requirements identified in collaboration with partners.
- Maintain and run daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports. Adjust and modify reporting solutions to keep pace with changing requirements.
- Accountable for accurate and timely delivery of reports meeting established standards and deadlines.
- Support end-users and business owners by responding to questions and providing analysis regarding reports, data points, and report access.
- Identify problems with report design including tool, data connection issues.
- Works as part of an Agile team and individually to meet team objectives.
Job Qualifications
- College degree required. A degree in mathematics, business, statistics, information systems or related field is preferred.
- 2-4 years’ experience building dashboards (Domo preferred).
- 2-4 years using database and data warehouse environments (Snowflake preferred).
- Experience in report automation.
Other Critical Factors
- Experience with SQL coding, SAS EG would be preferred.
- Experience with investment product sales data preferred.
- Able to work with a sense of urgency on multiple projects at the same time.
- Ability to work independently, as well as be part of a team.
- Ability to utilize technology to build reports and/or secure information necessary for decision-making in a manner that is readily consumable by leadership.
