Quality Control Manager

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies is seeking a Quality Control Manager to support the Defense Logistics Agency, Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Program Management Office (PMO) with broader modernization, agile, rapid-application capability maturity and prototyping efforts.

Duties/ Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Manager’s roles and responsibilities will meet the below detailed objectives of the contract to include, but not limited to:

  • Quality assurance and quality control of IT Systems
  • Verification and validation, software testing and integration, and software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment
  • Maintaining and establishing a process for evaluating software and associated documentation
  • Determine the resources required for information technology quality control
  • Maintain the level of quality throughout the software lifecycle
  • Develop software quality assurance plans
  • Conduct formal and informal reviews at predetermined points throughout the development lifecycle
  • Apply subject matter knowledge to high level analysis, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation and implementation
  • Resolve problems, which require an intimate knowledge of the related technical subject matter
  • Apply principles and methods of the subject matter to specialized solutions. Includes but not limited to, environmental, scientific, maintenance and repair processes, and logistical support activities

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Experience working with software quality assurance plans
  • Proficient in knowledge and understanding of software testing and integration
  • Experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT Systems
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecyle
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
  • Must be able to obtain IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC)

Nice to Have Skills

  • DLA Experience
  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
  • Proven track record of timely, accurate and complete work, independently managing multiple tasks with changing timelines and deliverables
  • Excellent critical thinking, organizational, problem solving, oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on additional tasks as needed
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written, with various staff levels and teams across the agency, including technical teams
  • Possess and demonstrate the interpersonal and leadership skills to build relationships with key stakeholders

Education and Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant Quality Assurance experience
  • U.S Citizenship required

Travel Requirement:

  • Potential for up to 10% travel

Clearance Requirement:

  • Ability to Obtain Public Trust
