JOB PURPOSE:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst is primarily responsible for creating and implementing the test plans on all software products that are either built in-house or configured on the cloud. The QA partners with internal stakeholders to plan, test, and implement all software changes to ensure that products conform to the desired quality standard. The QA Analyst is accountable for defects and ensures that systems are operational and client ready.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Execute functional, integration, system, and regression tests to verify the performance and reliability of software applications and systems. Document test results and provide detailed reports to project teams.
- Work closely with development teams to understand and reproduce issues and assist in their resolution. Verify bug fixes and ensure they meet the required quality standards.
- Create and maintain accurate and comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Prepare test summary reports and communicate test results to project stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration throughout the testing lifecycle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
- Six plus (6+) years’ experience with software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, testing principles, and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in writing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in SQL and database testing.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
