The QA Content Review Specialist is responsible for auditing courseware content for quality assurance to ensure KnowBe4 is consistently delivering high-quality, engaging and best-in-class products to its customers. They will collaborate with other testers, engineers, instructional designers, and other members of the courseware team in a fast paced, agile development environment to deliver concise, relevant learning content.
Responsibilities:
- Audit courseware content (e.g. courses, videos, games, newsletters) for quality assurance purposes, identify any areas of improvement, and provide feedback and training to courseware staff
- Test and assess whether content complies with the Courseware standards and style guide
- Formulate decisions and provide approvals related to usability in validation process of content
- Review and edit scripts, descriptions, storyboards, and other deliverables
- Help manage the master glossary and other master documents
- Provide feedback in a collaborative way that helps to enhance all of the departments in courseware
- Take an active role in creating and supporting content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive as outlined in the KnowBe4 DEI statement
- Ensure content is compliant with Courseware Universal Design Standards so that our content is accessible to all users
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.A. in English (or comparable experience) required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with editing and content review
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper use of grammar and spelling
- Highly skilled with technology and ability to navigate a cloud-based directory
- Familiarity with security awareness fundamentals
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to others with grace while encouraging them to continue to reach for mastery
The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000 – $55,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant’s skills and experience align with the job description listed above.
