Description
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience working for a Business Process Management or Software Development company. This position ensures that all departments come together in a timely and efficient manner to complete overall deadlines and goals during implementation. They are responsible for successfully planning, executing, monitoring, and closing on strategic projects and key initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage operational aspects of a project including scope, schedule, and delivery.
- Provide project coordination and leadership between technical staff and management.
- Evaluate project risks, develop contingency plans and respond quickly to change.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships and partnerships with clients and product teams.
- Act as liaison between team members and clients to accomplish results and identify alternative solutions.
- Review deliverables prepared by the team to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Review the status reports of team members.
- Maintain project trackers.
- Prepare and participate in engagement reviews and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions, meet challenges with resourcefulness.
- Proactively disseminate project information to all stakeholders.
- Communicates with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Complies with and adheres to MetaSource policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
- Experience working for a Business Process Management or Software Development company.
- General understanding in areas of application programming, database, and system design.
- Excellent knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policies; ability to write routine reports and correspondences; Able to simplify complex technical information to be easily understood by others.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; ability to obtain PMP within 6 months of employment is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of project management experience
- Industry experience or understanding related business process outsourcing services.
