As a Program Manager, you will contribute directly to the success of our mission by optimizing critical operational and clinical workflows, improving the provider experience, and enhancing our digital platforms. With a strong understanding of athenaNet, our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, you will lead the implementation of process improvements and complex configuration changes.

Your program management skills will shine as you collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, design, clinical, data, revenue, marketing, sales, and operations. Together, we will architect efficient solutions using a relationship-centered approach, ensuring that our proprietary technology platform meets the needs of our clinical teams and the populations we serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to architect and implement efficient EHR solutions, leveraging your expertise in athenaNet.
  • Identify themes, develop initiatives, and implement risk assessment and mitigation plans in collaboration with our leadership team.
  • Make informed decisions using objective and subjective data and stakeholder buy-in, measuring success along the way.
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions, gain alignment, and provide transparency and input for athenaNet optimization initiatives.
  • Design and develop workflow enhancements aligned with best practices established by our lead care team members.
  • Provide tier 2 support for athenaNet-related issues and requests from our internal users, utilizing ticketing systems such as Jira and Monday.com.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with Athenahealth for resolution.
  • Manage the backlog and prioritize work for the execution of new configuration requests, optimization initiatives, and other related tasks.
  • Be the voice of our members, staff, and providers by thoroughly understanding their needs through user research and usability testing.
  • Leverage user feedback to drive better decision-making and meaningful outcomes for the business.
  • Streamline tier 2 support tickets by empowering tier 1 support with operationalized tasks.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes related to athenaNet usage and access.
  • Provide consultative expertise for integration projects between athenaNet and our proprietary technology platform.
  • Support the configuration of new market rollouts and provider additions/changes in athenaNet and our revenue cycle management solution.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Program Manager, with a strong understanding of athenaNet (athenaClinicals) and Athenahealth’s revenue cycle management solution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical expertise and creative thinking capabilities to plan and strategize new process rollouts.
  • Proficiency in managing ticketing systems such as Jira and Monday.com.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to partner with external vendors for issue resolution.
  • A passion for improving healthcare processes and enhancing the provider experience.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and drive execution.
  • User-focused mindset with experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Ability to support integration projects and coordinate specific needs with external representatives.
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Strong understanding of medical workflows
  • Experience in the SUD and/or Behavioral Health field
