Job Description:
This position is responsible for the development. execution, monitoring and implementation of projects and programs along with initiatives affecting the commercial organization. This person will bring program management experience, a keen eye for detail with the scoping of schedules, status reports and work plans. Leads cross-functionally to ensure alignment across the entire commercial organization based on best-practices, standards, procedures and quality objectives including metrics and reporting of key programs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and manage company resources to execute program objectives and projects from design to implementation.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines.
- Identify and communicate project scope, ensuring program milestones and objectives are met.
- Interpret requirements and convert them into program deliverables.
- Drive the creation and management of cross-functional leadership teams; facilitate cross-team collaboration and understanding.
- Provide Agile leadership and training according to Agile practices/principles.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Product Management, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and driving resolution as needed.
- Ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical functions.
- Keep management informed of key issues and changes that may impact expected business results.
- Define and execute reporting requirements to track status, communicate results, and track budget implications.
- Lead and facilitate project meetings, cross-functional activities, and presentations, effectively communicating project goals, progress, and outcomes.
- Manage program risk, including risk analysis, tracking, and mitigation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to maintain project momentum and achieve objectives.
- Identify needed resources for projects, define, and assign major project roles.
- Assign and monitor the work of project/program management staff, providing technical support and direction.
- Identify areas for workflow/process improvement and contribute to process design improvement.
- Serve as a change agent for implementing strategic projects and process improvements.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize future project performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within the project team and across the organization.
- Develop, document, and publish calendar schedules of update releases for external and internal use.
- Implement best practices and methodologies for project management, adapting approaches as necessary to meet the dynamic needs of the organization.
- Assess the effectiveness of programs by analyzing relevant metrics within Salesforce, creating reports and dashboards to enhance program effectiveness.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position.
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Ability to develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities and tasks.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is required.
- 5-10 years of prior experience in program/project management with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion. SAAS experience is a plus.
- Five (5) or more years of leadership experience with information technology projects, including the development of globally deployed complex services toward successful outcomes.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a focus on attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage priorities under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to create, manage, and optimize Salesforce reports and dashboards, providing actionable insights and real-time visibility into program performance metrics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and present findings to support strategic decision-making.
- Experience working in the technology industry is strongly preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Prior sales, sales leadership, sales operations and/or enablement experience is preferred.
