Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Program Manager for its Johnston, RI location.

Duties: Utilize agile frameworks to create quality product delivery and continuous product and process improvement. Support product vision, goals and strategized solutions through story writing, backlog maintenance, prioritization, and project planning. Pro-actively identify impediments and recommends solutions to remove impediments. Utilize metrics and data visualization to report progress, provide data for estimation and planning, and create practical forecasts for sprints and releases, as well as use data analysis to identify areas of opportunity or efficiency gains. Serve as a point of escalation relating to issues of pod performance. Work with technology, business, operations, and other stakeholders to drive and deliver on Program objectives, scope, and define the solution and execute on it.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field followed by 7 years of progressive experience in the role or in a related position. Full term of experience must include: Working on IT projects within the Financial Services industry, executing key strategic initiatives in banking domain including Finance and Accounting, Mergers and Acquisitions, Commercial Banking, Consumer Banking, and Treasury; IT project management or product management experience, including use and execution of Waterfall or Agile methodologies for delivery on time, on budget, and to specification; Work with chief experience owners and business partners to define priorities, define and execute strategy for large-scale strategic programs. Developing product roadmaps and project plans including delivery schedule, budget, and financials; Leading technology work by performing current state deep dive, requirements development, solution approach, development, and testing activities using the knowledge acquired from internal and external technical certifications and trainings; Requirement gap analysis and transforming functional specifications into technical specifications; making sure that Requirement traceability is maintained from Business Requirements through Technical Requirements; Managing changes across technology and non-technology items and its impact on program’s schedule, cost, and resources/vendors; Estimating the effort required for various work item using the relevant estimation models and estimation tools available; Representing the program in various governance bodies like Project Oversight Committee (POC), Executive Action Team (EAT), and Steering Committees to provide status and health of the program to senior leaders; Design and use dashboards using Tableau or other tools like DocuSign’s SiSense to show progress and results towards critical path milestones; Utilizing JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software such as MS Project; Calculating Sprint velocity, Spring burndown, Spring burnup, and Release burndown using JIRA Query Language; Utilize Atlassian JIRA align technical stories and sub-tasks with business requirements and that each story has story points before they can be taken into a Sprint; Identifying the risks, issues and dependencies and work with multiple teams to mitigate those before any escalation is needed. Set up tracking mechanism, log, name and characterize (Qualitative and Quantitative) risks. Seek inputs as required and propose a risk mitigation plan and identify key stakeholders and disposition each risk. Prepare action plans to engage and influence the stakeholders per disposition; and Release Management, planning, and executing the release of software developed for the Digital Application.
