Title: Program Manager – Remote

Location: United States

THE ROLE

The Program Manager leads and manages one or more project teams who is responsible for overall customer success. They are a senior generalist leader of a multidisciplinary team. They help customers define how to engage with TheoremOne, structure the business deal, organize and lead a team, and ensure we deliver our promises to the customer.

Program Managers are Multi Disciplinary Managers and have the ability to manage Product, Engineering and Design. It is the first level of generalist (multi disciplinary) leader and the first time someone will manage a P&L. For those that choose this role it enables them to grow in more than one functional area through the development of those skills to manage various functions.

The stated salary range of 130,000 – 160,000 USD is applicable for eligible candidates that are located in the United States and hired on as an employee.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Pre-sales, Principal Consultant & Relationship Lead:

  • The Program Manager gets introduced to a customer during pre-sales, at which point they take over the ownership of pre-sales activities they own the proposal and SOW creation process and serve as the principal program lead after they win the work.
  • The Program Manager knows how to structure the business relationship between the Customer and TheoremOne. They help the customers find or unlock budgets, they work with TheoremOne leaders and Customer procurement to help write and champion SOW’s to signature.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Team & Delivery Management:

  • Program Managers should be expert Project Managers. They need to know how to structure and run a project at a high level and should continue to do that while they delegate the day to day management of the project to the Product Manager. At all times the effectiveness of Project Management (at all levels) is the responsibility of the Program Manager.
  • Program Managers work with functional managers and other TheoremOne Leaders to ensure everyone is getting the support and coaching required to bring out their best. In the scenario a person is unable to perform at the required level the Program Manager may need to remove the person from the project.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Business Relationship & Financial Management:

  • The Program Manager must develop, manage and own engagement budget including burn down, financial reporting, and managing to target margins. They manage the customer invoicing cycles as well as collecting required data from the team such as allocations, time off or hours worked.
  • The Program Manager works to ensure clients have LONG TERM and DEEP relationships with TheoremOne and that TheoremOne is engaged with the customer in as much surface area as possible and that we’re doing the most meaningful work we can do.
