About the role: We are looking for team players who are driven, proactive, passionate about the space, our business, and the opportunity, and are effective problem solvers able to execute with little supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help achieve the Apprentice Tempo product mission and vision.
- Fall in love with discovering, dissecting, and understanding our pharma manufacturing users’ problems.
- Analyzes and works through complex batch records independently.
- Identify gaps in batch records if any, analyze gaps, and advise as needed.
- If a client does not have a mapped-out process in place, the product specialist will assist in the process mapping function for the client.
- Answer specific product related questions as needed and advise clients as needed.
- Measure your impact by defining key results for companywide OKRs.
- Cross-collaborate with the other product specialist and managers as needed to ensure we maintain a holistic product experience.
- Ability to design a solution framework independently.
- Has a deep understanding of Apprentice Tempo Infrastructure, Software Release Approach, Delivery Methodology, and Integration.
- Ability to gather requirements independently with clients per use case and translate into our MES solution.
- This role requires to at times be client facing so attention to detail and executive presence is ideal.
- Ability to meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
- Must be involved in testing our internal products as it relates to various iterations of our platform. This involves training internally and externally.
- Maintain and prioritize your product area’s backlog of epics coordinating with the other product managers to ensure seamless and cohesive releases.
- Engage with and collaborate with process owners to understand the details of their problems.
- Ability to assist the Product Team to understand MES use cases for Product design and Implementation.
- Successfully able to participate in support call and help understand problem root cause.
- Ability to lead a team by way of leadership without delegation.
- Be adaptable to accelerating market changes resulting in swift prioritization changes.
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to understand their product needs.
- Work closely with our executive leadership ensuring our roadmap aligns with business priorities and mission.
- Proactively communicate project updates in a timely fashion.
- Be curious about and stay on top of the pharma market and competitive trends and incorporate them into your analysis and recommendations.
- Be a passionate evangelist of the Apprentice platform helping present, author, and drive content, road mapping, process etc. and other ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications:
- “Roll-up-your-sleeves” entrepreneurial, startup attitude.
- Passion for learning and helping in pharma manufacturing.
- Ability to create a logical path in ambiguity.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Product Specialist for a software product (MES, business process experience, and cloud experience a plus).
- Understands how to build a solutions framework with a senior MES specialist/expert.
- 2+ years of experience having worked with an MES system.
- Excellent communication skills – ability to build alignment and clarity across both technical and non-technical audiences, including internal teams and customers/partners.
- Technical or engineering-based Bachelor’s degree (MBA or master’s a plus).
- Legal authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
