Clinical Technology Solutions (CTS) is a clinically oriented health IT solutions and services group within Optum Insight. We pair technology experts, management consultants, and skilled clinical leaders together to help health systems, provider entities, and payers achieve clinical and financial return from their technology investments.

Our holistic approach to Health IT adoption and optimization includes the development and delivery of technical solutions combined with services for organizations to prepare for and thrive under value-based and risk-based models. We focus on enabling interactions between providers and their care teams, patients, and payers.

The Product Operations Manager is the primary operations manager for a portfolio of new and developing solutions within the CTS business. The Product Operations Manager will partner with CTS leadership to develop our solution evaluation and management structure including the development and maintenance of templates, guidelines and resources for product evaluation and development. Managers also liaise directly with delivery teams to capture customer feedback and incorporate that feedback in to the product lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide business operations support to the CTS solutions council:
    • Maintain product portfolio status and dashboard
    • Identify opportunities for service and solution development and commercialization
    • Provide best practice recommendations and serve as thought partner
  • Maintain deep product knowledge of our full offering and capabilities
  • Monitor industry and assess competitive solutions against CTS solutions
  • Participate in and lead internal solution development activities
  • Document and present solution budget projections and CBA analyses
  • Present to executives and senior level stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-enterprise initiatives
  • Facilitate calls and in-person planning sessions
  • Set and execute against development milestones
  • Provide regular status updates to CTS Leadership Team

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience and at least three of the following:
    • Client management experience
    • Project management experience
    • Experience presenting to senior executive level audiences
    • Demonstrable analytical reasoning or quantitative analysis
  • Experience working in the health care industry
  • Willingness to travel at least 10% domestically

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in a health or business-related field
  • Experience developing and implementing clinical solutions
  • Proven ability to prioritize across multiple projects and relationships
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Possess solid written and verbal communication skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $113,500 to $218,100. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $113,500 to $218,100.
