Product Marketing Manager – Cybersecurity

Picnic is an enterprise SaaS cybersecurity company solving the largest and most complex problem in cybersecurity: social engineering. Social engineering isn’t about technology infrastructure. It’s about people sharing information with other people, and a vast body of valuable information at the fingertips of attackers who know how to make use of it. Our technology is addressing this head-on and it’s going to change the game.

As a start-up, we are continuing to evolve and are adding a Product Marketing Manager to our Product team. You will be working on a fast-growing cybersecurity product in a high-growth market. You will be able to share your expertise to organize the best positioning, packaging, and subsequent execution and launch of new features and products. You will also take the lead on and coordinate launch readiness and ensure a high-quality experience for users and stakeholders. Having knowledge of the cybersecurity market is needed for this role. This role will report to the VP of Product.

What you will do in the Product Marketing Manager role:

  • Develops written and multimedia content that resonates with our buyer and user audience
  • Researches the competitive landscape and defines buyer personas to determine the most effective way to market our product
  • Creates launch plans and coordinates cross-functional activities required to bring new customer experiences to market
  • Craftspositioning and messaging to make sure that products and features (new and existing) are presented in a consistent way that resonates with target buyers
  • Leads the decision-making checklist with key stakeholders for product and/or feature launch and documents procedural guidelines for successful delivery and enablement
  • Maintains the externally-facing roadmap for our product on a quarterly basis
  • Produces release notes for internal consumption following each release
  • Identifies and reports on trends that affect the quality of releasing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes

Qualifications that will help you succeed in the Product Marketing Manager role:

  • Required: Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in product marketing in enterprise cybersecurity SaaS
  • Knowledge of/or experience in demand generation, social media, digital marketing, storytelling, influencer marketing
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
  • Experience in creating launch plans
  • Possesses a demonstrated growth mindset; approach challenges as opportunities to improve and grow both self and Company
  • Able to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment with rapidly shifting priorities
  • A bias for action
