As a member of the Surest marketing team the Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for aligning with UHC partners and developing product marketing plans and approaches as well as execution of supporting content for Surest products and capabilities. In addition, this person will use their marketing experience to manage special projects as needed. This individual will collaborate and work closely with business partners, various marketing team members. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization to gain alignment and execute on agreed upon objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage cross-functional relationships within marketing, product, research, analytics, and sales teams across the enterprise
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to enable and execute marketing efforts across the enterprise
  • Collaborate with partners to identify and plan for market awareness and demand generation opportunities
  • Define and communicate value proposition, and support development of product positioning and messaging that differentiates us in the market based on market trends and changes
  • Create and prioritize marketing content and sales enablement tools that articulate and demonstrate product value to both prospects and existing clients
  • Execute other initiatives as needed to support organization growth objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience in the health care industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a product marketing role
  • Experience working with internal and/or external creative teams
  • Experience planning and managing marketing initiatives across matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities from inception to completion
  • Proven well-organized, results-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Proven comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively
  • Proven excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Proven effective problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Proven solid consensus building skills, with a willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
