We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to be part of the Product Marketing team, responsible for helping drive top-line growth for Dun & Bradstreet’s Finance & Risk Solutions business. The practice’s main areas of focus are credit-, accounts receivable-, third-party supplier- and compliance-risk management. Our target buyers are Finance, Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Compliance and Risk Management executives. We are a highly collaborative team of motivated self-starters who thrive on delivering marketing programs that drive results.

The Role:

In your role as Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing powerful Go to Marketing (GTM) programs and content for our Finance and Third-Party Risk & Compliance Solution (TPR&C) products in a way that will strengthen our brand and boost sales. You will be a chief advocate for our products, developing a strong understanding of our target audience, buying personas, their needs, our products portfolio, competitors, and market trends. With this deep knowledge, you will be responsible for creating compelling value propositions, positioning statements, messaging guides and product marketing content for our solutions, which align to the critical client needs which our business solves for.

Your abilities should include, but not be limited to, creating sales collateral, product videos (scripts and creative direction), web copy, customer presentations, product demo scripts and other media assets. You will help grow the business as we drive customer adoption of use cases and new products, expand our cross-sell efforts and extend into new and developing areas of data intelligence. Additionally, a strong candidate must be able to demonstrate ability and comfort in using data to evaluate GTM programs performance and to inform future programs and content.

Please be able to show you are highly organized, operate with a bias toward action, maintain strong attention to detail, and exhibit strong collaboration skills as you will interface with key cross-business partners and senior executives across Product, Sales, Sales Enablement, and Marketing.

Experience in B2B software product marketing for mid-size and enterprise SaaS solutions, particularly Finance and Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, and Compliance-related solutions and/or data solutions is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for owning product marketing strategy and positioning for Dun & Bradstreet Finance Solutions. Actively work with Product, Sales, and Marketing to understand customer needs, target markets, buyer personas, use cases, product capabilities/features and benefits – and then apply that knowledge to develop impactful product marketing content and enablement assets focused on value proposition and competitive differentiation.
  • Lead development of product- and solution-related positioning, messaging, and content (e.g., product messaging guides, sales brochures/sell sheets, website content and other digital marketing assets, presentations, case studies, customer stories, product videos, product demo scripts, etc.) to promote the benefits of our F&RS solutions to the world. Collaborate with PR and Corporate Communications for external media placements and to promote activities internally.
  • Be comfortable interviewing product/business managers to understand product capabilities and key information, and refine that information into succinct, meaningful, and relevant customer-facing content, product messaging, sales tools and training materials that will support product marketing strategy.
  • Measure and optimize strategy and content performance, collaborating with Marketing and Sales Operations leaders, leveraging data and analytics to continuously improve contribution to business goals.
  • Submit requests via internal online systems for content development, online posting, etc., and manage workflow process. Manage internal review process for content developed.
  • Act as an evangelist to ensure that our value proposition and messaging are clearly articulated and known by all market-facing colleagues (ex. sales, marketing), providing content for internal newsletters and calls/webinars.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years B2B software content marketing experience for mid-market and enterprise business(es) in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with general aspects of risk management in one or more of the following areas: finance, compliance, and/or procurement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  • Highly motivated, energetic self-starter, passionate about marketing.
  • Proven ability to write and proof content on a variety of topics across multiple content formats and optimized for SEO, with a focus on digital environments and performance. (Please provide examples)
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills – presenting/selling your ideas is important in this role.
  • Data/performance metrics-driven, you will be able to share examples of how you have used data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with content management systems like NewsCred, and ticketing systems such as JIRA a plus.
  • Experience in self-publishing website content using Adobe Experience Manager a strong plus.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and document sharing tools (eg. Sharepoint).
