Insurity’s next Product Manager for our emerging Insurance Solutions products

Insurity is looking for a Product Manager to help innovate and implement product initiatives for our digital payments and chatbot products. This person will be instrumental in crafting the future of our core platform capabilities through pragmatic product definition, thoughtful client engagement, and active collaboration with the Services and Development teams.

We’re looking for someone who puts customers first and enjoys the challenge of brainstorming, defining, and refining features that will enhance value and time to market. Our Product Manager will be responsible for the platform’s roadmap and work closely with product managers and product owners from our other products.

Our Product Manager will use their expertise in the product lifecycle, to not only communicate what the product priorities are but more importantly, why they are the right priorities. They should be comfortable diving into technical aspects of software development, AI/machine learning, and the insurance domain. We want to be able to do more than just speak the language’ – this role will step in, take ownership, and challenge things when something doesn’t feel right.

What You’ll Do

  • Influence and drive the payments and chatbot product strategy, roadmap, and release plans. This requires assessing requirements of the market for specific features by presenting to current and prospective customers, other industry specialists, as well as Sales and Operations personnel.
  • Partake in the overall Insurity roadmap process where all product roadmaps are presented and discussed among the Product Management and executive staff.
  • Reinforce the behavior across the team of using the roadmap and plan documentation standards in effect, using the tools prescribed in such standards (for example JIRA and Confluence).
  • Lead all aspects of the prioritization of features and bug fixes, making sure the work adheres to priorities established by the company, competition, market opportunity, company resources, profitability, and time-to-market goals.
  • Oversee, drive, and participate as appropriate in Release Teams for the Product Release Management Process
  • Liaison with Product Marketing and User Groups on branding, marketing, and positioning plans. Make sure product/service announcements and press releases reflect our value propositions.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical area of study, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in web-based product development or related business leadership
  • 2+ years in a SaaS product management role as a product manager, product owner, or business analyst
  • Expert in building enterprise software platform capabilities and features
  • Strong planning, communication, and presentation abilities are needed, along with a strong technical vocabulary
  • Understanding of scaled agile development framework and environments
  • Insurance domain knowledge is highly desired
  • Limited travel required (less than 10%)

Location: This role will be performed remotely.
