RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce’s client is seeking a Product Manager/Project Coordinator for a fully remote contract opportunity (Eastern or Central time zone working hours strongly preferred). Primary Responsibilities:

  • Product Manager/Project Coordinator manages work assignments on different types of projects, such as system integrations, business process engineering, business process re-engineering, new product launches
  • Understands business needs and applications
  • Assesses current business processes and practices, recommends improvements
  • Applies change management techniques to ensure business readiness; Elicits and documents business requirements
  • Able to learn new systems
  • Performs system configurations when required (business set ups)
  • Executes system testing to validate business rule set ups
  • As a Product Manager/Project Coordinator, you will facilitate user acceptance testing
  • Develops training materials, facilitates, and supports training
  • Supports project go-live
  • Prepares reports on project status
  • Business Implementation Manager will manage multiple large Line of Business and smaller Enterprise projects with a medium level of supervision; Prioritizes work and handles multiple projects and priorities as assigned; Accepts responsibility for actions of the team; Drives 3rd party vendors and associates to desired results; Is self-motivated and proactive and assumes responsibility for things that need to be done; Business process design & analysis
  • Leads process review cycles Innovation and Creativity; Appropriately defines a problem and applies knowledge gained from previous issues and solutions to resolve a current challenge; Able to interpret complex, detailed specifications and make suggestions that provide workable solutions; Able to research system set ups, evaluate, and make recommendations for optimization

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Able to interpret business process maps to uncover redundancies, lack of controls, non-value-added tasks, lack of task or sub-process ownership, deficiencies in roles and responsibilities, resource staffing issues, hand off breakdowns, and any other gaps impacting process efficiency
  • Broad knowledge of the financial services industry
  • First-hand experience with the -end to end- business initiatives and full life cycle Project Management
  • Business/Operational Analysis, including requirements elicitation and specification and QA/Testing
  • Experience with PMO’s and managing vendors
  • The individual must demonstrate sound judgment and strong critical thinking skills
  • The individual must be able to grasp concepts quickly, be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, able to synthesize complex information effectively, and skilled in translating complicated issues into actionable recommendations
  • The individual must work proactively to establish close ties with others in the organization, work effectively with others to achieve the company’s business objectives, be willing to be held accountable to others – both horizontally and vertically
