Position Overview:
We are looking for a Product Manager II with a passion for creating products and features that enhance the daily lives of Yahoo Mail users. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a suite of products within Yahoo Mail. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and valuable experience to our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: You are responsible for crafting a near-term product roadmap that aligns with the squad and pillar goals. You understand how to make trade-off decisions that maximize value for your squad.
- User Research: Conduct in-depth user research to understand user needs, pain points, and preferences. Translate insights into actionable product improvements.
- Feature Development: Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to define, prioritize, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- User Experience: Ensure a seamless and delightful user experience by defining user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to make informed product decisions and continually optimize product performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to travel, events, and post-purchase shopping.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful consumer-facing products.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and A/B testing.
- Knowledge of Yahoo Mail and its user base is a plus.
