RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and communicate product roadmap for all NPR Distribution Products.
- Partner closely with software, engineering, business, and operations teams to develop feasible, viable and simple-to-use product solutions that delight our customers and streamline our processes.
- Maintain the pulse of the content distribution industry, and identify how public radio products will evolve to meet the needs of our business customers.
- Collaborate directly with our business and technology teams to help grow revenue for the NPR Distribution division.
- Meet regularly with external users and internal partners to ensure we are building the right products, tracking success metrics, and communicating product performance.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration and innovation across all disciplines.

- Demonstrated awareness of intersectional identities and ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 – 5 years product management experience.
- Experience working with a mirid of teams – Agile-enabled teams and non-agile based teams
- Experience with content management and strategies including storage, sharing and distribution
- Ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members.
- Comfort with data-driven decision making and performing financial and operational analysis.
- Demonstrated success in creating innovative experiences that help users in different groups meet their goals.
- Experience project managing large projects with many stakeholders
- Ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements.
- Demonstrated success for building happy, collaborative teams and earning buy-in for innovative and bold product vision.

WORK LOCATION
- Remote Required: This is a remote required role. This role includes duties that are better performed or are required to be performed in a designated location OUTSIDE of an NPR facility. The employee is required to work at a designated remote work location.
JOB TYPE
- This is a full time, exempt position.
COMPENSATION
Salary Range: The U.S. based anticipated salary range for this opportunity is $98,000 – 120,000 plus benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salaries NPR expects to provide for new hires for the position across all US locations.
