What you’ll do:
- Lead the design and research to improve the developer experience portal for developers and developer partners at Pinterest.
- Design to improve the adoption of developer docs and consumption of API endpoints
- Lead design for the developers.pinterest.com subdomain, which includes the developer portal, documentation, and the API
- Research how developers interact with these three systems throughout the customer lifecycle
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve developer ergonomics as they move between the product and their codebase
- Work with Engineering to leverage the Gestalt design system, building interfaces that are cohesive and brand consistent
- Continued work on relaunch of developers.pinterest.com
- Add tiered access path to partnership
- Alpha launch of API v5 migration support
- Messaging and signup for new creators wanting to build on Pinterest
- Improve dev site docs, NPS results of developer satisfaction improvements
- API Sandboxing: Usability testing of 10 API endpoints
- Next level improvements to partner adoption and developer onboarding comprehension
What we’re looking for:
- Logical, detailed self-starter
- Empathy and understanding of the developer experience
- Experience working as part of the agile Scrum
- A systems thinker who can address gaps in the customer journey
- Basic understanding of software engineering concepts and workflows
- An understanding of REST APIs and app development a plus
More about contract roles at Pinterest:
- This is a temporary contract position at Pinterest. As such, the contractor who fills this role will be employed either by our staffing partner (PRO Unlimited) or by an agency supplier partner, and not an employee of Pinterest
- All interviews will be scheduled and/or conducted by the Pinterest assignment manager. When a finalist has been selected, PRO Unlimited or the agency supplier partner will extend the offer and provide assignment details including duration, benefits options and onboarding details
